After a pretty uneventful trip over to Rockhampton. (apart from the air-conditioning breaking down in Port Augusta and constantly trying to out run the storms following us the trip was all good).

The first heat Keith started out of position 8 and was passed by Mick Doblo with 3 laps to go. The track was narrow and very wet, due to the constant rain. Keith finished in seventh position. The second heat Keith started out of pole and was passed once again by Mick Doblo who started out of 2. Mick gained ground quickly, but Keith never let him get to far away. Keith held on to finish in 2nd positon.

Keith qualified pole for the B Main, with Brad Smith alongside, Jarrod Harper behind Brad and Wayne Randall starting behind Keith.. The format is top 4 through to the A Main.
Keith's hard air filter cover broke off in lap 7 and blew in front of his vision. He continued on until it blew off the car and onto the track. The final positions were, Brad Smith first, Jarrod Harper second and Keith finishing in third position.

Unfortunately due to the persistent rain the A Main was cancelled. Keith had qualified 17th for this feature.

The car was going only good enough to stay in touch. It was not going forward as much as we would have liked. However we are hopeful we can improve on our set-up.
